Systems Engineering (Position open to residents only)

Job Summary: Responsible for developing customer solutions, based on understanding customer needs and aligning those needs with product offerings. Plays a key role in the end-to-end sales cycle and supports the sales team with the required product information, proposal building, acting as a technical expert and liaising with key stakeholders.
Job Description:
  • Plan sales strategies, positioning in contrast to competitors and demonstration of company offerings
  • Engage with the customers and interpret and assess their needs
  • Proactively scope the products and solutions required to address customer needs and recommend solutions that optimize value for both customer and business
  • Coordinate closely with sales, sales support and technical teams to align solution design with customer requirements
  • Work with sales to technically qualify opportunities by making recommendations on solution, feasibility, scope of work (SOW), expected timelines and associated risks
  • Create responses to proposals/bids/tenders/RFIs/RFPs/EOIs
  • Give product demonstrations and deliver proof of concepts
  • Create sales pitches and present the pitches to the decision makers of a particular campaign
  • Collaborate with marketing team to ensure sales pitches are aligned with marketing campaigns and participate in lead generating activities like tradeshows, expos, company events etc.
  • Create and refresh company collaterals, presentations and documents to communicate key aspects and benefits of offerings to prospects, customers and partners
  • Provide product knowledge support and training
Required Skills: 
  • BE/BTech with at least 5- 9 years prior experience in IT Pre-Sales preferably product companies
  • Extensive experience handling RFPs/Proposals/Bids end to end; interfacing with the various SMEs as required during the proposal life cycle
  • Prior experience in working on large government tenders is a plus
  • Ability to own and lead proposals, and manage the proposal response process
  • Ability to work on multiple proposals simultaneously
  • Experience in IPv4 and IPv6 networks
  • Strong knowledge of networking & protocols
  • Meticulous attention to detail and forensic approach to challenges
  • Solid understanding of technology and strong product knowledge in relevant domain
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the industry trends and relationships in the domain
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of IT systems
  • Ability to analyze and seek vulnerabilities in IT infrastructures
  • Experience in Security Policy & Process frameworks
  • Knowledge of Log management tools/SIEM, Firewalls, IPS’s
  • Sound knowledge of Forensic Analysis & Incident Response
  • Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Ability to create presentations and collaterals
  • Strong IT Skills and proficiency in MS Office; exposure to CRM tools, knowledge of hardware, software and networks.
  • Excellent proposal writing skills, formatting skills and aesthetic sense and ability to improvise on the overall proposal content and filtering of content
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional presentation and demonstration skills – able to present ideas and communicate to customers and team in a way that produces understanding and impact
  • Strong commercial acumen and outstanding business judgement
  • Strong time management skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Self-driven, with an ability to work with minimal supervision
