Account Manager, Enterprise Sales

Job Summary:

Responsible for defining and executing appropriate sales strategies, tactics and action plans. Primary function is to accelerate the growth of sales by achieving annual targets, building and growing key account relationships and understanding customer trends.

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong long-lasting relationships with key customer stakeholders
  • Liaise with customers to understand and evaluate their business needs and objectives
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
  • Identify selling possibilities and actively seek out new sales opportunities
  • Achieve and exceed annual sales targets within the assigned accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong partner relationships
  • Enable partner onboarding and manage partner sales
  • Understand the product and competition specific landscapes and market trends
  • Understand and effectively communicate the company’s value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Expand global customer base and manage accounts in the international market
  • Identify emerging markets that could be valuable to the business
  • Report on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of the customer accounts
  • Analyze pipeline and lead data and report to the management providing key business insights related to Demand Generation, Pipeline Forecast and Trends, Conversion Rates, Target Account, Market Segmentation, Win/Loss, Age etc.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Relevant Experience: 12 to 15 years
  • Must be an overachiever who has continuously overachieved on given plans and targets
  • Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Possess deep knowledge and understanding of the industry trends and relationships in the domain
  • Exceptional presentation skills – able to present ideas and communicate to customers and team in a way that produces understanding and impact
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Strong IT Skills and proficiency in CRM tools
  • Self-driven, with an ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong time management skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong commercial acumen. Outstanding business judgement and a proven ability to negotiate effectively in tough situations
  • Strong change management, analytical, problem solving, organizational and communication skills
  • Energetic, persuasive and well organized
