Engineer Trainee-AI/ML

Job Summary: Join Vehere’s cutting-edge Engineering team to help build the next generation of our security product. This role offers a great learning opportunity for freshers passionate about AI/ML and cybersecurity. You’ll work on real-world problems involving network behavior, malware detection, and anomaly detection. Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will support the design, implementation, and optimization of AI/ML models that enhance our Network Detection & Response (NDR) and Network Forensics (NF) solutions.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Understand project requirements and assist in solution design
  • Support the development of ML/AI models for anomaly and threat detection
  • Perform data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing tasks
  • Apply basic statistical techniques and help fine-tune models
  • Work with data scientists and senior engineers to train and test models
  • Participate in model deployment and monitoring activities
  • Document your work including datasets, models, and test results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams like testing, support, and product management
  • Adhere to high quality software development standards.
  • Responsible for maintaining Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of Vehere’s information assets including business critical information.
Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
  • Good understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms (e.g., classification, regression, clustering).
  • Familiarity with Python and libraries like scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas, TensorFlow or PyTorch
  • Basic understanding of Linux and scripting (Shell/Python)
  • Exposure to data structures and algorithms.
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) is a plus
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn cybersecurity domain concepts
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work within cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented and passion for creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces
