Network Security Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Network Security Developer to produce scalable network security visibility solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Network Security Developer, you should be comfortable and conversant with different Network Protocols, Network Security Domain and coding languages (C, C++/Java), development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for emerging technologies and utility. If you’re also familiar with or have experience working in any of NIDS/HIDS/IPS/Firewall, we’d like to talk with you.


Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Gathering functional requirements, understand technical specifications, conversant in product design and development.
  • Designing/developing system software, prototypes, or proofs of concepts (POC’s)
  • Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, production, pre-release and post-release patches
  • Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, QA, various product lines, or business units to drive forward results
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of the product.

Skills and Experience:

  • BE/BTech/BS/MS in computer science.
  • Should be very well conversant coding in C. Knowing Java is an added advantage.
  • At least 5-10 years of proven experience as a System Software Developer or Security Developer or in any other similar role.
  • Significant understanding of the Data Structure and Algorithms.
  • Extensive knowledge in Network Protocols and Security Domain as a whole.
  • Knowledge of different Open-Source Security tools is an added advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of Operating System Concepts and also comfortable working in both Linux/Windows based systems.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Desired but not mandatory Skills:
  • Experience working in NIDS, HIDS, IPS or Firewall is an added advantage.
  • Experience working in Deep Packet Inspection is preferable.
  • Familiarity in identifying Security Vulnerabilities and be able to detect point of compromise.
  • Knowledge of different types of attacks and their modus operandi is an added advantage.
  • Experience in Network Protocol Security is preferable.
  • Application of AI / ML / Deep Learning techniques in tracing Anomaly attacks.
