Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and proactive WordPress HTML Developer who brings not only strong front-end and WordPress skills, but also hands-on experience with SEO best practices and HTML email campaign creation. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys building high-performing websites, optimizing for search engines, and crafting clean, responsive email templates for marketing campaigns.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Website Development
- Build, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites using custom themes or builders.
- Translate design files (Figma, XD, PSD) into pixel-perfect, responsive HTML/CSS and WordPress templates.
- Customize existing themes, plugins, and functions to meet business needs. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
SEO Optimization
- Implement on-page SEO best practices including meta tags, schema markup, image optimization, and internal linking.
- Work with content and marketing teams to ensure SEO-friendly site structure and content layout.
- Run website audits and recommend/implement improvements to boost search engine rankings.
Email Campaigns
- Design and code responsive HTML email templates that render well across email clients and devices.
- Assist marketing teams in deploying campaigns through platforms like Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.
Maintenance & Optimization
- Monitor website performance and implement optimizations for speed and SEO.
- Perform regular updates, backups, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Stay current with the latest WordPress, HTML/CSS, SEO, and email marketing trends.
- Adhere to high quality work standards.
- Responsible for maintaining Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of Vehere’s information assets including business critical information.
Skills and Experience:
- 2 to 4+ years of experience in WordPress development with strong HTML/CSS skills.
- Proven knowledge of on-page SEO techniques and SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, SEMrush etc.).
- Experience designing and coding responsive HTML emails.
- Solid understanding of responsive, mobile-first design and page speed optimization.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript/jQuery and PHP basics.
- Experience with CRM/email platforms like HubSpot.
- Basic knowledge of GA4, tag management, and analytics tracking
