Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with over 20 years of experience in civil construction and project execution. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in multi-storied building construction, interior fit-out execution, contractor management, project planning, procurement coordination, and overall project delivery. The role requires strong leadership capabilities to drive projects from planning through completion while ensuring quality, timelines, and cost adherence.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end execution of large-scale construction projects, including multi-storied commercial, residential, or institutional buildings.
- Oversee interior fit-out and finishing works, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion using project management tools and tracking mechanisms.
- Prepare, manage, and track project plans through Gantt Charts and other project monitoring frameworks.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage onsite contractor activities, resolve execution challenges, and ensure productivity and compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, resource utilization, and overall project performance.
- Collaborate with procurement teams for material planning, vendor management, and purchase processes.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and provide status updates to leadership.
- Adhere to high-quality standards.
- Responsible for maintaining Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of Vehere’s information assets including business critical information.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (B.E./B.Tech Civil).
- Minimum 20+ years of relevant experience in construction project management.
- Proven experience in multi-storied building construction projects.
- Strong experience in interior fit-out and interior execution projects.
- Hands-on experience in managing contractors, subcontractors, and onsite teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of project planning and scheduling, including the ability to develop, maintain, and track Gantt charts.
- Ability to monitor project timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables using project planning tools.
