Praveen is a cyber defense visionary and an Indian deep-tech entrepreneur. He is the founder of Vehere, a leading AI-powered, deep-tech cybersecurity company specializing in SIGINT and counter-terrorism solutions for governments, defense, intelligence agencies, and enterprise network security solutions.

Born to humble parents, Praveen holds a Master’s degree from the Delhi School of Economics and has completed executive programs at Stanford University. He began his career as an analyst at General Electric (GE), where he identified opportunities that saved the company $20 million, yet received only modest recognition. This experience underscored the constraints of corporate hierarchies and ignited his entrepreneurial drive to create greater personal and societal impact.

An accidental deep-tech founder, Praveen left the comfort of a stable global job to co-found Vehere in 2006 with his brother. This bold leap into unknown territory, building battle-tested platforms for high-stakes security environments, reflected his agility, resilience, and entrepreneurial mindset. His natural leadership emerged early, including winning a highly competitive college election to become Student Union President, demonstrating his ability to inspire and unite others.

Praveen honed his expertise working alongside defense and intelligence professionals combating terrorism and global digital threats, developing a profound understanding of strategic security challenges. While Vehere delivers comprehensive cybersecurity innovation, Praveen’s passion strongly aligns with counter-terrorism and intelligence applications, where the company’s platforms have supported analysts in disrupting terror networks and analyzing massive data flows for over a decade.

With more than two decades of industry experience, Praveen has steered Vehere’s global expansion, forging key strategic partnerships and establishing a global presence with offices in San Francisco, Singapore, UAE, and KSA. Today, Vehere stands as the only Indian global player with a growing international footprint serving mission-critical clients.

A respected entrepreneur and industry leader, Praveen actively contributes to policy and ecosystem development. He is an influential member of key bodies, including the FICCI Homeland Security Committee, CII Regional ICTE Sub-Committee, and NASSCOM Information Security SIG, fostering collaboration between industry and government to advance national security and enterprise cybersecurity strategies worldwide.

Beyond his professional achievements, Praveen is married with two kids. He is an avid pickleball player and loves traveling the world, balancing his high-stakes career with family time and personal pursuits that keep him energized and grounded.
