New Delhi, India, 25 September 2026: Vehere, a leading provider of Network Detection and Response (NDR) and Full Packet Capture (PCAP), has just announced the availability of NDR 1.8.4, its latest release. The release introduces new capabilities aimed at giving security teams broader network visibility, deeper investigative context and more intuitive access to security operations and product knowledge.
A key addition to this release is Vision AI, a conversational interface that gives analysts and administrators natural-language access to product knowledge, configuration guidance, operational procedures, and troubleshooting information. The company plans to further expand Vision AI into a more deeply integrated capability across the Vehere platform, enabling security teams to interact with network data, investigations, and operational workflows through a natural-language interface.
The release also expands network flow coverage with JFlow support in Vehere’s existing Flow Collector, alongside NetFlow and sFlow. JFlow records from supported Juniper devices can now be ingested and surfaced from the NDR interface, giving security teams greater visibility into applications, protocols, hosts, conversations, and other network activity.
Another significant addition is On-Demand TLS Decryption, which allows users to decrypt supported captured TLS sessions, subject to the availability of the required decryption keys or certificates and applicable TLS conditions, when metadata alone is insufficient to support an investigation.

Beyond these capabilities, the update adds Real-Time Alerting and Capture Input Identification, allowing captured traffic to be narrowed using VLAN IDs or MAC addresses. The release also includes enhancements to the Setup and Licensing Management Console (SLMC), audit trails, and whitelist support, along with security improvements addressing findings from Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) and a range of bug fixes.
