Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in SD-WAN architecture, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting, including both Central Management System (CMS/Controller) and Edge devices.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience working with leading SD-WAN and Next-Generation Firewall solutions such as Cisco, Fortinet/FortiGate, Palo Alto Networks, and flexiWAN.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot SD-WAN solutions across Central Management (CMS/Controller) and Edge devices.
- Work on SD-WAN overlay and underlay network architecture.
- Configure and troubleshoot VPN technologies, including IPsec and site-to-site VPN.
- Configure and troubleshoot dynamic routing protocols such as: OSPF, BGP, RIP.
- Work with routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, ACLs, and firewall policies.
- Configure and troubleshoot WAN connectivity across multiple links and service providers.
- Understand SD-WAN features such as path selection, link monitoring, failover, load balancing, and application-aware routing.
- Troubleshoot complex network connectivity and performance issues.
- Participate in interoperability testing with third-party networking and security products.
- Support product testing, validation, PoC, and customer deployments.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, System Architecture, and Product teams.
- Adhere to high quality software development standards.
- Responsible for maintaining Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of Vehere’s information assets including business critical information.
Skills and Experience:
- BE/BTech in Computers, Electronics or related field
- 5- 8 Years of hands-on experience in networking and network security.
- Strong practical experience with SD-WAN solutions, including CMS/Controller and Edge devices.
- Hands-on exposure to one or more of: Cisco SD-WAN /Fortinet / FortiGate SD-WAN /Palo Alto/ Networks SD-WAN /flexiWAN.
- Strong understanding of VPN and IPsec, OSPF, BGP ,RIP ,TCP/IP networking, Routing and Switching, VLAN and VRF, NAT and Firewall policies
- Good understanding of SD-WAN Overlay and Underlay architecture.
- Strong troubleshooting and packet analysis skills using tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump.
- Experience working with Linux networking will be an added advantage.
